‘The continuing disparity in the proportion of men and women in architecture is a problem for everyone’
David Chipperfield Architects is very pleased to support Women in Architecture and all the women working in the practice. We hope that the number of women applying for work at the practice will increase through our membership.
The continuing disparity in the proportion of men and women in architecture is not only a problem for women: it limits our access to the best talent, and that is a problem for everyone.
I strongly support Women in Architecture, and am keen to prove that our membership is not just symbolic. This is an important initiative, which affects us all, and I look forward to the day when we have a much healthier level of diversity of all kinds in the profession.
