The AR’s pick of the world wide web
Black-Out 07 by Dan Holdsworth, 2010
There are certain blogging institutions that deserve a particular shout out: Enrique Ramirez’s A456 (twitter) is one of them. Unusually for the Internet, the format is longish posts (borderline essays) at the forefront of contemporary architectural theory (his first public presentation looks pretty fascinating too).
Other news: this lost gem of NY was taken down from the web for a bit, but seems back to stay; Flushtracker, just precisely where are your flushes right now? Startling x-ray landscapes by Dan Holdsworth; also photography, the bleak urbanism of Greg White and the vaguely Hitchcock aesthetic of Alex Prager. Finally, the joy of a format only visible on-screen, animated Gifs: dvdp; if we don’t, remember me.
