St Joseph's University, Beirut, Lebanon, Youssef Tohme & 109 Architectes

A fascinating and compelling assemblage of both solid and void volumes, sometimes figural, sometimes residual. You want to be pulled through these spaces. The exterior juxtaposition of the all glass screen facade and the pierced concrete facade appears not completely resolved as an intention. Why so abrupt the confrontation? But still, a very impressive accomplishment.
