We are finally realizing that we do indeed live within the space we occupy. A building is a mini world, does this mini world contribute to the whole or does it take or intrude? We are beginning to understand the connective reality of the environment about us, allowing to some degree a surrender of our desire of control; architecture as a statement of environmental control, hence control of nature and until we come to realize our architecture is based more on fear than practicality we will continue to build buildings that address philosophical perspectives rather than complete utilization of the space they occupy. The question is what sort of architectural dialog are we leaving for the generations to come...
