Eyal Weizman presents Forensic Architecture - the research agency bringing spatial analysis into legal and political forums
Forensic Architecture is a research agency based at Goldsmiths, University of London. Drawing on a team of architects, scholars, filmmakers, designers, lawyers and scientists, the agency undertakes research that gathers and presents spatial analysis in legal and political forums, providing resources such as navigable 3D models of environments of ongoing conflict.
Such an unprecedented presentation of information has become crucial in pursuing accountability, providing evidence that other methods cannot engage with and throwing into stark relief the ethical and political role that this form of architectural research can play. In this podcast, recorded at the British School at Rome, Eyal Weizman introduces and explains the project.
