By contrast the Roman Catholic church of St. Antonius at Wildegg, Switzerland, (architect Justus Dahinden) still lies in the earlier tradition. This type of plan seeks to enclose in a minimum volume the formation people fall into when they attend Mass in an open field. Though this is a large church, the impression inside is still domestic, due to the low walls and large expanse of boarded timber roof.
