London Design Festival 2011

The AR marvels at the strange and wonderful objects on display at this year’s London design festival

At this year’s London Design Festival, The Architectural Review will be the media partner for designjunction, a new event which will take place at Victoria House Basement, in London’s Bloomsbury, from Thursday 22 September. Spread across 2,000m2, the event will host 30 international furniture and lighting brands, such as Modus, Hitch Mylius, Cappellini, Swedese, Benchmark, Another Country, Beau McClellan, Anglepoise, Jake Dyson and Bocci. The AR will be hosting a series of seminars during the event, and on Friday 23 September, there will be a late night Pecha Kucha.

Designjunction is free to attend and will be open daily from Thursday 22 until Saturday 24 September, 11am to 6pm, and Sunday 25 September, 11am to 4pm. Victoria House Basement is located at 37-63 Southampton Row, London WC1B. For more information, visit
