This image is a detail of the Labyrinth Plan, a highlight of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London (until 15 August). Drawn by Dean Pike while a Bartlett School of Architecture Diploma student, this internalised world was inspired by the Villa Müller of Adolf Loos

In his day job for David Chipperfield Architects, Pike was the site architect for the Hepworth Wakefield.
