Ned Scott's War Rooms

Bartlett student’s dark take on The Garden Cities of Tomorrow

As a counterpoint to the choreographed images of Olympic London, recent Bartlett graduate Ned Scott depicts a darker scenario for the capital. One of the highlights at this year’s Bartlett summer show, ‘The War Rooms, St James’s Park’ imagines an energy war in 2050, which prompts the implementation of a closed-loop agrarian economy inspired by Ebenezer Howard. This hand drawing is taken from a series shown here.
