How to Enter

Everything you need to know about entering the AR House 2012 awards

Entries
You may submit as many entries as you like, but each entry should show only ONE project. Incomplete work, unrealised schemes, projects, CD-ROMS, videos, transparencies, models, prototypes and multiple schemes entered on one board will NOT be accepted.

Entry & Payment
You must complete an online entry form for each entry you wish to submit. When sending the final entry boards and materials in for judging, please also ensure that you write your correct reference code, supplied to you via email and indicated on the website when you register, on the back of all submitted materials: two A2 boards and CD.

Entry fees
Entry fee for each project submitted is £235 + VAT at 20%. Payment can be made online by debit or credit card. It is also possible to pay by cheque, made payable to Emap Ltd. Entries will not be accepted without payment. The entry fee will increase to £255 on Monday 16 April, so enter by Friday 13 April to pay the reduced rate.

Boards
Each entry should be mounted on two A2 sized boards (landscape or portrait format), and must include photography (in either colour or black and white), drawings and, if appropriate, a brief written description in English. The identity and location of the submission is helpful to the Jury. Maximum board size is 420 x 594mm (approx. 16.5 x 23.4in) - preferable lightweight art board or equivalent. Please also supply a CD containing high resolution PDFs of both boards, at A2 size.

Anonymity
To ensure anonymity in judging, no names of entrants or collaborating parties may appear on any part of the board. When you register your details online, you will be given a reference number. Please ensure that this reference number is written on the back of all submitted materials. For extra security, please include an international telephone number on the back of the board. Only after the Jury has made its decision will the identity of the winners be revealed.

Delivery
Entries should be properly packaged and clearly marked FAO Melissa McChesney, Emap Inform, AR House Award, Greater London House, Hampstead Road, London NW1 7EJ, United Kingdom.

Documentation - VERY IMPORTANT
Your entry must be marked as NCV (no commercial value) on any courier documentation. The organisers will NOT accept any courier charges or taxes resulting from delivery. Personal deliveries to the AR offices are accepted during normal working hours.

Return of entries
Unfortunately entries cannot be returned. The organisers assume no liability for loss or damage of entries.

Closing date for entries
The entry deadline is Friday 4 May.
