Sponsored Feature, Copper Awards: Facades of folded, perforated copper plates covering this hall with a semi-transparent veil
The winners of the 2015 European Copper in Architecture Awards have now been revealed, recognising the growing influence of copper and its alloys on contemporary design.
This year, more than 50 entries were received from 17 countries and assessed by an international team of architect judges, all recipients of previous Copper in Architecture Awards: Ulla Hell (Plasma Studio, Italy); Erik Nobel (NOBEL Arkitekter, Denmark); Fernando Seara de Sá (Pitágoras Arquitectos, Portugal) and Keith Williams (Keith Williams Architects, UK). Impressed by the high standards across the entries, the judges settled on 10 shortlisted projects, from which five awards were made.
