The VELUX Group has launched the International VELUX Award 2016 to inspire architecture students from all over the world to work with daylight
Registration for the International VELUX Award 2016 for Students of Architecture, which challenges students to work with daylight in architecture, is open until 1 April 2016. With entries from over 350 schools of architecture in 60 countries, the International VELUX Award has established itself as the most important and biggest global student competition.
This year, the winners of the International VELUX Award for Students of Architecture will be announced at the World Architecture Festival in Berlin and will be featured in the November 2016 issue of the Architectural Review. Students or teams, who are active students in 2015-2016 and backed by a teacher from a school of architecture, are invited to register before it is too late.
Registered students must submit their final project by 15 June 2016 to be reviewed by an expert international jury which includes Christine Murray, editor-in-chief of the AR.
