International architecture and design competition looking into urban strategies for the future of San Francisco’s Tenderloin is now open for registration!

The Tenderloin is an area of huge untapped potential waiting to be discovered, but the question remains: how? Can it be turned from one of the most deprived neighbourhoods in the USA into a model-district of the future, paving the way for a new age of 21st century inner-city regeneration? You decide.

We call thinkers, architects, designers, students and multidisciplinary teams from around the world to design innovation by submitting a proposal for turning one of the most deprived, dangerous and disconnected neighbourhoods in the USA into the model-district of the future.

The competition will precede a series of global spin-off events, exhibits and publications.
