"Slightly disarmingly, bathrooms are visible from the staircase". Is this a throwaway photo caption?

The hand-drawn perspective drawing is NOT totally wrong at all, it is a sketch. The sketch was drawn by a first-year undergraduate after 6 weeks. We do teach drawings skills AND CAD skills (I prefer hand-drawing) but both are appropriate at times.
What the article fails to mention is that XJTLU's architecture department has only been in existence for 1 year and 1 week. I think the quality of student work already rivals some of the best (equivalent level) students in China and across the world.
We are on track to be the first RIBA-validated department of architecture in China.
As a point of information, their CAD skills are excellent!
