Jonathan Glancey cemented his career as critic as assistant editor of The Architectural Review in the 1980s, under the editorship of Peter Davey
He is currently architecture and design critic at London’s Guardian newspaper and a weekly columnist for the UK architectural newspaper Building Design. He has written several books including The Story of Architecture (2000), a monograph of Nigel Coates (1999) and Lost Buildings (2008). He is a regular television and radio broadcaster who has written and presented programmes for the BBC and Channel 4.

Interesting guy. But credibility undermined being closely associated with a weekly UK architectural newspaper whose editor denies global warming.
