Colin Boyne
Colin Boyne was the editor of The Architects’ Journal from 1949 to 1970 and then chairman of the editorial board of the AJ and the AR between 1970 and 1974, while both titles were still owned by the Architectural Press
Boyne was an immensely successful editor of the AJ, the sister magazine to the AR, and a number of important contributions to The Architectural Review, including essay All the Modern Movement Needs is a Shot in the Arm in 1978. He died in September 2006
