The Architectural Review would like to invite applications for the position of Art Editor. This is a significant role within a small editorial team, working on a brand with an international reputation and a long, distinguished history. The successful candidate will be responsible for the visual identity of the AR

Since 1896 the Architectural Review has been on a mission to discover and promote the best architecture from around the world. Through its authoritative coverage of buildings, urbanism, history and theory, it is a touchstone of inspiration and integrity for the global architectural community. In October 2011, the AR relaunched with a new design by Simon Esterson and Jon Morgan (a free digital edition can be found on our homepage architectural-review.com)

Through the quality of discussion and dissemination of architecture both in its pages and on its website, it aims to inform, inspire and entertain, but also - more fundamentally - to connect architects with their profession’s core purpose of transforming human life for the better.

This is a creative and demanding post which involves working closely with the editorial team to bring a complex subject matter to life both in print, through the magazine, and digitally, through the AR’s new website. It is a permanent, full-time job based at our headquarters in Greater London House, NW1.
